The Susquehanna Bonsai Club recently had a display at the Pennsylvania Garden Expo. Bonsai is a living art form that has been practiced and perfected by the Japanese for more than 2,000 years.Bonsai (pronounced bone-sigh) means "plant in a pot", but over centuries it has come to refer specifically to the art of creating living trees and landscapes in miniature. A bonsai is not a particular variety of woody tree or shrub into a miniature work of art. 
Some of the styles represented in these photos include a "group", "slanting style" and an "individual upright".
